About the gallery…
The two-story gallery showcases artworks by Thomas Stevens, plus temporary solo and group exhibitions by remarkable guest artists.
Located in the historic downtown of Hillsborough, the gallery spans two floors of art plus a working art studio….
~ the Showcase Gallery on the first floor sectioned into three art exhibit bays;
~ the AHA Hallway Art gallery area exhibiting modest masterpieces every day in the gallery building’s shared space;
~ and Suite 42 upstairs, a spacious art display space, working art studio, and art hideaway.
Hours
Browse AHA Hallway Art seven days a week, daytime business hours and evenings until about 7 pm, and also use our automated self-entry to visit the showcase gallery anytime staff are not on site.
The upstairs art studio and exhibit area, Suite 42, is open Last Fridays 6-9 pm, for special events and pop-up hours, by serendipity, and by appointment seven days a week. Really. Just call or text to arrange a visit for you or your group.
Last Fridays in Hillsborough
You can always count on a special time on the last Friday of the month for art and fun in Hillsborough, In addition to a gallery art exhibit and reception, the Thomas Stevens Gallery hosts performances by outstanding local musicians and roaming poets and spoken-word artists. Join us every Last Friday, 6-9pm, for art and fun.
